Well, what an awesome first Sunday morning service. In preparation, a flyer was distributed to Point Cook residents, and as a result we had a number of first-time visitors. Music and message was icing to the cake! Thanks Lord!

Just a short note also that we are planning to start Kids' Church on Sunday February 10. Stay tuned for news about our homegroup!

Big news for Lakes Christian Church! As from Sunday, January 20, 2008, we will commence morning services (10:00am) at Jamieson Way Community Centre. With the first Sunday of the month being Market Sunday, we're still considering what to do on those Sundays, and are considering evening services for then. We are also looking into what we can be doing at the market, so if you have any ideas on how we can interact with the community on Market Sundays, we'd appreciate your comments.

Our last Sunday evening service for 2007 will be Sunday, December 23 at 5:30pm. This means that we will be having a break between Christmas and January 20th when we start the morning services. Our home group is also in recess until February 2008.
